[Class 81 (i).] Receptacles 4 having a capillary absorptive filling 5, such as petrol lighters having a filling of cotton wool, are filled with liquid from containers closed at one end and having a capillary outlet 2 at the other through which the liquid will not normally flow but from which it is withdrawn by capillary action on contact with the filling. The liquid, e.g. petrol, may be enclosed in a glass ampoule such as the ampoule 1, Fig. 1, or an ampoule, as shown in Fig. 3, having a constriction 7.
