Convention date, Dec. 15, 1930. [Class 138 (i).] Apparatus for polishing or otherwise treating floors and like surfaces comprises a series of polishing &c. units a each provided with its own driving motor, the units being interconnected in such manner that they are permitted relative vertical floating movement. The connecting frame b may have joints d or may be integral but resilient. The polishing &c. devices are assembled so that the polishing discs e or other operating devices overlap, thus ensuring treatment of the floor &c. over the whole width of the apparatus.
