J., 54, Eton Avenue, Hampstead, London. Oct. 31, 1931, No. 30209. [Class 61 (iii).] A screwdriver of the type adapted to hold a screw at its operative end prior to screwing has a wedge-shaped divided blade, the portions 2, 3 of which are set out of alignment, Fig. 3, so that they grip the side walls of the slot in a screw-head when pushed therein. A modification in the operative end of the blade is shown in Fig. 4.
