[Class 29.] Cooling-towers of approximately hyperboloidal shape are built of a metal framework comprising posts b, c in single or connected lengths set along the generating lines of the surface, in the manner described in connection with timber cooling towers in Specification 329,715, [Class 29, Cooling &c.], and horizontal members d<1> connected to the posts at the crossing points d. A covering of one or two layers of metal, fibro-cement or wooden boards e following the direction of the posts is applied to the framework. Specifications 332,268, [Class 20 (iv), Floors &c.], and 363,016 also are referred to.
