381,979. Frosting glass. KOOPERATIVA FÍRBUNDET, 9, Katarinavõgen, Stockholm. July 22, 1931, No. 20892. Convention date, Aug. 7, 1930. [Class 100 (ii).] A uniform depth of frosting is produced on a number of glass articles by frosting excessively in the ordinary manner, then grading the articles into groups according to the depth of frosting, and finally exposing the groups separately to the action of an acid until all the groups are reduced to a uniform depth of frosting. The acid used is hydrofluoric with or without hydrochloric or sulphuric acids or water. The process may be employed for producing articles having portions of different depths of frosting.
