372,567. Wedges. BEGG, A. L., Seaforth House, and MURDOCH, J., Laneview, both in New Cumnock, Ayrshire. May 20, 1931, No. 14858. [Class 89 (ii).] A wedge for use in adjusting the length of a telescopic pit prop is provided with a barbed end 31 to prevent disengagement of the wedge from the prop, the barb being of greater length than the guide slot 4 in the prop which limits the extreme adjustment allowable between the prop members.
