Abstract
371,596. Blasting fuzes : explosives. ESCHBACH, W., Troisdorf, Cologne, Germany. April 16, 1931, No. 11335. Convention date, March 13. [Classes 9 (i) and 9 (ii).] In an electric instantaneous or time fuze, the time fuze composition or the electrically ignited pellet or both are such as to give off no gas or only very little gas on combustion. The fuze composition may be a mixture of equal parts of metallic antimony and potassium permanganate ; and the pellet composition may be a mixture of equal parts of calcium peroxide and a pyrophorous alloy, for example cermagnesium. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 210,518, 304,144, and 310,364, [all in Class 9 (i), Ammunition &c.].
