370,655. Games. NOLAN, T. A., 42, Harbour Street, and COLLINS, E., 236, Pitt Street, both in Sydney, Australia. April 13, 1931, No. 10901. Convention date, Jan. 13. [Class 132 (ii).] An apparatus for playing games of the kind in which biased balls or equivalent are projected to follow curved paths towards a target or scoring area comprises a flat board or platform having an upstanding ridge 3 around its periphery, one or more circles 7 defining the scoring area adjacent one end, and a wall 8 or obstacle disposed substantially midway of the length of the board and transversely thereof, for preventing the direct passage of the balls from the playing end to the scoring area. An opening 4 is provided in the upstanding ridge 3 to permit free movement of the player's arm. A mat 5 is provided for the players to kneel upon when projecting the bowls. In modifications, skittles coloured similarly to snooker balls are arranged on the target. The target may consist of a circle subdivided into coloured sectors.
