Abstract
367,210. Making fabric hats. ROMMEL, WEISS ET CIE, AKT.-GES.. 4, Holweiderstrasse, and ARLT, P., 25, Rhodiusstrasse, both in M³lheim, Cologne, Germany. March 18, 1931, No. 8309. Convention date, March 18, 1930. [Class 63.] In making ladies' hats, a fabric is woven with cross-shaped designs extending diagonally thereof, and these cross-shaped parts are cut out and sewn together at the edges a, b, c, d to form a bell-shaped structure, which is pulled and pressed into the final hat shape . The fabric used may be woven from impregnated and lustred yarns, which are subsequently flattened to make the fabric resemble a Japanese paper woven fabric.
