Abstract

361,897. Screw propellers. LOMAS, T. E., Wayside, Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire. Aug. 26, 1930, No. 25406. [Class 114.] In screw propellers formed of alternate layer of wood and metal, the metal sheets have teeth or spikes stamped thereon which on assembly are forced into adjacent wood layers, additional securing means including the use of glue. The Provisional Specification also states that an outer metal sheath may be used, the edges being slotted and overlapping or having interlocking castellations.
