355,596. Cleaning water-closet pans &c. WILDES, A. and PLUMMER, H. E., 2, Park Road, Dovercourt, Essex. Nov. 12, 1930, No. 34042. [Class 19.] A device for cleaning water-closet pans &c. comprises a disc b of rubber or like composition secured within the slotted end of a handle a, the edge of the disc being serrated. In another construction, two plates or discs are secured to the opposite faces of a handle, while, in another construction, these plates may be made to assume a curved formation by distance-pieces secured to the end of the handle. Fig. 8 shows another construction in which pieces of rubber &c. b are secured between ends of metal plates c, c<1> fixed to the handle a, the projecting ends being provided with serrations b<1> on opposite sides.
