352,996. Moulding confectionery. MULLINER BROS., Ltd. and BROOKS, H., Norwood Confectionery Works, Norwood Road, Blowick, Southport, Lancashire. April 14, 1930, No. 11712. [Class 87 (ii).] A length of tubular confectionery 5 having a powder or soft centre is passed between intergeared rollers 1, 2 having peripheral grooves in which are dies 8 adapted to flatten the tube at spaced intervals and so seal it. The dies may be provided with cutting edges 9 to part the tube into separate portions. Pegs 6 may be located in the grooves to assist in drawing the tube between the rollers.
