Abstract
350,139. Maps. MAcGREGOR, D. R., 5c, Montagu Mansions, York Street, Portman Square, London. April 15, 1930, No. 11972. Drawings to Specification. [Class 146 (ii).] In a wireless receiving set the operation of tuning automatically closes the circuit of an indicator which identifies the transmitting station on a map. In one construction the set is tuned by means of two variable condensers associated with switch arms for completing a circuit through one or other of several lamps arranged behind apertures in a map, so as to indicate the location of the transmitting station. The apertures may be covered by translucent material, e.g. red for long-wave and green for short-wave stations. The map may be embodied in the set, or hung on a wall &c.
