348,007. Electrical hot plates. BRAY & CO., Ltd., G. and BRAY, G., Leicester Place, Leeds. Feb. 8, 1930, No. 33090. Divided on 346,089. [Class 39 (iii).] An electrical heating element consisting of a resistance enclosed in a sheet-metal casing, such as those described in Specifications 346,089 and 345,423, [Group XXXVI], is supported on a device consisting of a narrow strip of metal with upstanding lugs on which the heating element is supported clear of the strip. In the arrangement shown the support is formed of a strip A of angular cross-section and circular form. Some of the lugs B are mounted directly on the strip, while others B<1> are situated on radial projections. Forms are also described with lugs on outward projections and with a straight strip with lateral projections. The leads d may pass through some of the lugs as shown.
