Abstract

347,370. Board games ; games of chance. McCLURE, R. E., Warren, Ohio, U.S.A. Feb. 24, 1930, No. 6112. [Class 132 (ii).] In a board game apparatus of the kind in which markers are moved over a diagram of a golf course according to the dictates of a chance device, the chance device comprises a slotted disc rotatable over a stationary disc. The slotted disc A, Fig. 2, is mounted on a pin C projecting upwardly from the centre of the stationary disc B and is rotated by means of a knob D. The slots S in the disc A are so located that each slot registers with one or more circular charts on the stationary disc. Each slot corresponds to a type of club, which club is nominated by the player prior to actuating the device. In addition, a slot marked "chip" is provided for shots taken in the immediate neighbourhood of the green. The positions of the balls on the diagram, Fig. 3, are indicated by differently coloured markers in the form of pins having ball-shaped heads.
