Abstract

346,748. River courses, channels, &c. FREY, K., 4B, Anton Mollerweg, Langfuhr, Danzig, and CLEEFF, H. VAN, Str³th, near Caub-on-Rhine, Germany. Jan. 6, 1930, No. 495. Convention date, Jan. 8, 1929. [Class 68 (i).] Eddy losses are eliminated and uniformity of flow of fluid secured at sharply bent parts of a river course, channel &c. l by the provision of guiding surfaces h, i, k at said parts. Each guiding surface consists of a number of members transversely staggered relative to one another and so arranged that each member of a guiding surface overlaps the adjacent member or members. This subjectmatter was included in the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) but does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
