Abstract

A veterinary preparation for combating foot-and-mouth disease, which is mixed with milk before use, consists of bolus alba, lecithin, and the following herbs, viz. rhamnus frangula, tussilago farfora, rosmerinus officinalis, aurantium, hyssopus officinalis, origanum majorana, lavandula vera, hortensis organum, iris florentina, anagallis, myristica, anisum, cinnamomum, geum urbanum, triticum repens, erythr a centaurium, fraxinus excelsior, matricaria chamomilla, glycyrrhiza glabra, cichoris, salvia officinalis, artemisia absinthum, achillea millefolium, levisticum officinalis, carlina composita, and marrubium nigrum. The valuable portion, such as root, bark, leaves, flowers, or fruit of each herb is used.
