Abstract

For the production of mouthwashes and dentifrices, rubber hydrosol and an anticoagulant, such as soap, saponin, gum arabic, sodium phosphate or ammonium diphenyl phosphate, are used in combination with a preservative, such as eugenol or phenyl salicylate, to produce a sterilized product. According to an example, a tooth wash is composed of soap, glycerine, mint oil, winter green oil, eugenol, phenyl salicylate, latex, gum arabic and water.
