[Class 83 (i).] Moulds. - In reinforcing thin metal, such as the bottom B of a cooking utensil W, by casting molten metal G thereon, the thin metal is kept flat by drawing out or pressing it by means of a stamping head Z having a limited movement. The utensil is held down by a ring H. The retaining ring R may be removed or become a part of the utensil. The action of the head Z is started before or directly after casting and is continued until the metal G has set.
