Abstract
340,316. Golf bags. SUTCLIFFE, S. H., Sunnypatch, The Grove, Radlett, Hertfordshire. Sept. 27, 1929, No. 29379. [Class 132 (ii).] A golf bag is divided into two or more compartments by partitions detachably mounted or fixed across the mouth of the bag, each partition comprising a spindle on which one or more rollers are mounted. As shown in Fig. 1, partitions 2, consisting of rubber covered rollers 3 rotatable about stationary spindles, are secured across the mouth of a golf bag by spring clips 5. In a modification, Fig. 2, the partitions are secured by nuts 6 and the spindle of one partition 2<1> is bent to take the form of three sides of a hexagon. The length of each roller is approximately equal to the diameter of the shaft of a golf club.
