Abstract

338,354. Oldham, J. L., and Bottomley, J. Nov. 9, 1929. Delivery of articles stored in piles.-In a coinfreed article delivery machine the magazine or carrier for the articles is adjustable in respect of both the length and width of the package accommodated, so that the cross-sectional area of the magazine can be varied. The magazine is composed of four angle plates 6 - - 9, Fig. 2, the plates 6, 7 being attached to brackets 10 slidable in a supporting bracket 13 and held in adjusted position by bolts 12. The plates 8, 9 are carried by blocks 17 which slide in forked arms 16 of the brackets 10 and are secured in adjusted position by thumb screws 20. The delivery drawer is altered in size by backing plates.
