Roller blinds.-A map, plan, or the like carried by a spring roller is provided at its lower end with a free roller adapted to be rotated from the spring roller so that the bottom of the map is rolled up as the map is unrolled for inspection and the bottom of the map is prevented from lying on the floor. The spring roller 1 carrying the map is provided with a pulley 6 at each end over which pass endless chains 5. The bottom roller 7 of the map is extended at its ends into the loops formed by the chains, and the extensions are formed with flats, projections, or other arrangements to enable the roller to be rotated by the chains and wind up the map or plan as it is unwound from the roller 1.
