Magnetic instruments.-A supporting and centring body 1 for the coil of a loud - speaker, gramophone pick-up or like instrument is made of insulating material and the electric connections between the coil 2 and the points of connection 5 for the speech currents consist of metallic conductors 6 which either pass through or are mounted on the material of the body. In the construction shown the coil 2 is wound on a small cylinder 3 integral with the arms 4 of a supporting spider and the conductors 6 are adapted to be embedded in the arms during the formation of the support, while in a modification, the conductors are formed by squirting metal in a pulverized or fluid state on the surface of the arms 4.
