Disc and like mills for disintegrating rubber &c. comprise a fixed disc 5 formed with a central feed inlet 6 and a face 5a undulating in a radial direction mounted opposite a rotary disc 1 formed with an opposed undulatory face 1<a> spaced apart from the fixed disc by a distance which diminishes gradually toward the periphery of the discs, the faces of the discs being formed with rasp teeth 7 in opposed relationship and of a size diminishing toward the periphery. Rasp teeth 10, 12 may be formed on the outer surfaces of the discs and inner surface of a sieve 11 respectively. The teeth may be formed of emery, corundum &c. and spacing discs 13 may be inserted under the fixed disc to regulate the spacing of the discs. The undulatory surfaces may be formed as flat surfaces disposed at obtuse angles to one another and being of angular form extending round the discs concentrically with the axis of rotation.
