Traps.- In order to prevent unsealing a trap is provided with a lateral chamber c, Figs 1 amd 3; which is upwardly inclined or has an upwardly extending weir d. and there is no bye-pass connection. A sharp corner may be formed at m, the outlet limb of the trap may have a bulbous enlargement, and two chambers c<1>, c<2>, Fig. 4, may be employed. Specifications 9211/96 and 262,549 are referred to.
