332,823. Bienenfeld, J. Oct. 5, 1928, [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Necklaces and the like.-A clasp for necklaces or the like formed of a number of rows of beads. &c. comprises a number of clasps formed or provided with means whereby they can be detachably connected together side by side, each detachable clasp receiving one or several rows of beads whereby the rows of beads may be separated and so that the separate rows and their clasps each form a complete necklace. The detachable clasps 1, 2 are positioned by tenons 13, 14 and recesses 15, 16 and connected together by a spring catch comprising a spring arm 8 having a hook head 7 which projects beyond the face of one clasp and engages through a recess 12 in the wall of the adjacent clasp; the spring catch is provided with a release projection 9. The rows of beads &c. are attached to rings 3 on spring snaps 5, 6 and to rings 4. Automatic separation of the detachable clasps may be effected by a spring disposed. in one or more, of the recesses 15, 16.
