Pottery surfaces, ornamenting. - A spraying nozzle for slip used in decorating pottery has a cut-off valve. with a strip of paper or other suitable material on the end of it. Fig. 1 shows the nozzle a fitted with a valve a<1> controlled by a spring c and thumb-piece b<2>. One valve member may control two orifices arranged as shown in Fig. 4. The strip of paper d is stated to produce a band of uniform width. Specification 323,633 is referred to.
