Stopper-keys and like appliances. -A device for removing discs from milk bottles &c. comprises a sheet metal member a having converging edges c, c and a recess f which forms :an abutment for the inner face of a disc h on withdrawal. The lateral faces of the device converge towards the point. The recess f is curved inwards as shown and may have a corresponding symmetrical recess on the opposite side making a barb-like point. The outer edges of the point are curved inwardly.
