Projection screens. - A projection screen c pervious to sound has a screen a substantially impervious to light and sound arranged behind it, and one or a number of sound amplifiers b of one or more loud-speakers, debouching at the surface of the screen a. Both screens may be white and rendered fireproof, the screen c may be made of Madapollam, the screen a may be of asbestos, the interiors of the amplifiers may be white, and white screens pervious to sound may extend across the mouths of the amplifiers in continuity with the screen a. The single screen c may be replaced by separate screens for each amplifier. Shutters or the like may be provided to vary the use of the amplifiers when more than one is provided.
