Abstract

327,232,. Schulte, E. Feb. 6, 1929. Cabinets.-Apparatus for drying crockery comprises a sink d, preferably of aluminium, mounted in the top of a cabinet, a fan f and an electric heater h being located in a compartment beneath the sink. The air is forced into pipes o on opposite sides of the sink and issues in horizontal jets through alternate large and small orifices. The large orifices of one pipe are located opposite the small orifices of the other pipe. The sink has a tray q formed partly as a plate-rack p. The lid r is hinged at s, and is supported in the open position by a hinged strut t which normally lies flush in the lid. The switches i, k for the fan and heater and the plug socket l are housed in a recess which accommodates the electrical connecting-wires &c. when not in use. A store cupboard b is located beneath the drying-apparatus.
