Partitioned boxes; fittings, internal and external.-A travelling case, particularly intended for holding pairs of shoes, comprises rigid front and rear sections 1, 2, preferably lined with a soft fabric 16, hinged together at 8 and adapted to unfold into substantially the same plane, each section being partitioned into compartments, a retaining device 14, which preferably consists of flexible curtains, being arranged to close the lower front portion of each of the compartments when the case is open and preferably being of such a length that when the case is closed the curtain attached to one section will cover the openings of the compartments of the other section. The case may be retained in its open position by snap fasteners 18, and feet may be provided on the top of the front section upon which the open case may stand. A loop 17 may also be fitted by which the open case may be suspended.
