Abstract
326,074. Lee, P. April 23, 1929. Curved reversible handles; fixing by grooved members; holders with recessedback retaining-devices for brushes.-A toothbrush has a detachable head, the connecting means consisting of pronged extensions 3, 4 in the handle members, having recesses 3<x>, 4<x>, 4<o> and side guides 5, 6, and lateral extensions to the brush head 7 adapted to be slipped longitudinally into the open end of the guides at each side of the fork; the head is locked in position by the projections 5<x>, 6<x>. The members of the fork are curved longitudinally and the brush head is carried by a resilient backing 8 so that the outer face of the bristles 7<x> is concave, Fig. 3, or convex, Fig. 4, according to the way in which the brush head is inserted.
