Abstract

325,588. Dover, H. W. Nov. 22, 1928. Terminal ornaments.-An ornamental cover for screw-heads is secured in place by tongues engaging with recesses in a washer under the head. In the arrangement shown in Figs. 1, 2 and 3, the tongues e on the cover bend under the head of the screw when the cover is forced down on it and enter recesses between tongues c on the washer a. In a modification, the washer provides a hard surface against which the tongues bend when the screw is driven into soft material.
