Ventilators. - The glass slips of a pivoted louvre ventilator are mounted in channelled carriers a, a<1> covered, with sheet steel or brass &c. pressed thereon, and bearing on the face of the glass so as to hold the cement or other plastic material in place. The actuating lugs e are formed on, or brazed to the carriers, and the sheet metal covering is cut away to fit the lugs. The pivots f are screwed into the carriers, and bearing washers are provided having flattened edges to lie between the edges of the covering.
