Abstract

323,327. Waley, H. D. Nov. 22, 1928. Drawings to Specification. Kineinatograph apparatus. - In apparatus for winding and storing endless films &c. of the kind described in Specification 282,174, each spool is provided with two sets of members for supporting the film, one set comprising fixed members which always engage with one surface of the film, and the other set comprising retractable members which engage the other surface of the film; a guide member ensures that the film passes between the fixed and retractable members when the latter return to their forward position. A construction of apparatus is described in which each spool comprises two circular plates spaced apart by four fixed members, and two retractable members carried by a cranked lever which may be rocked about a pivot against the action of a spring.
