Scarifiers. - Attachments to road rollers and the like for scarifying road surfaces have curved tines 2 with shanks of rectangular section formed with shoulders 2d which are forced against the tool holder 3 by cotters or wedges 4 passing transversely through the shanks, the usual cotters or wedges 5 being also employed to fix the tines laterally.
