Abstract

311,582. Cairns, R. June 20, 1928. Grab-buckets.-To prevent loss of powdery material, strips 2 of rubber or like material are fitted to the horizontal and vertical edges of one or both buckets, so as to project beyond the edges and make contact when the buckets close. The strips may be reinforced with metal. They are secured by angle-iron clips 3 and bolts 4, the latter passing through slots 5 in the strips to permit of adjustment for wear.
