Abstract

311,096. General Electric Co., Ltd., and Gardiner, L. May 7, 1928. Electric radiators.- The base 1 carries the heating elements 9 and an upstanding portion 3 on each side of which is arranged an ornamental glass or like screen 11 resting on the base and engaging the edges of the upstanding portion which is preferably an arch of open ornamental work. The screens rest on lugs 12 and engage grooves in the arch. Each screen may be made in sections and is U-shaped in cross section. The base and screens may be perforated. A reflector 14 is provided for each heating lamp. A handle 5 is screwed on to a rod which screws into the base and carries a heat insulator 7.
