Television.-In a duplex television system a transmitter and a receiver at each station ure mechanically of a unitary character and are driven by a single motor 20. The motor rotates a disc 2 having two spiral sets 4, 6 of holes, lenses or mirrors which explore respectively an object 8 and a receiving-screen 14. According to modifications : the two spirals are in separate discs on the same shaft (Fig. 2, not shown); one portion of a single spiral explores the object whilst another portion explores the receiving-screen (Figs. 3 and 4, not shown).
