Abstract

309,430. Thompson, J. E. Jan. 10, 1928. Indicators operaed by hand for displaying variable information.-The direction, route and distance of a destination is shown by means of a rotary ring 2 pivoted on a map at 5 and bearing the names of various destinations any one of which can thus be brought into radial alignment with a corresponding stationary line 10 bearing the names of places en route and their distances. The indicator may be pinned at any departure point on the map and a compass 12 may be provided.
