Abstract

305,404. Watt, J. A. March 30, 1928. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Compound transparent sheets.- The edges off a compound glass sheet are sealed with a composition of an oxide of lead and glycerine 10 inserted in a groove 8 formed by cutting away some of the intermediate non-brittle sheet of celluloid &c. A rubber strip 9 may be inserted in the groove in addition to the composition to assist the sealing effect.
