Scales.-4 scale for use by engineers, architects &c. comprises a wood or metal base 1 to which variously-divided scales 2 can be interchangeably attached, the base being provided with a number of spring clips 3 extending on each side thereof to hold the scales in position. An end clip 4 may also be provided to form an abutment for the scales.
