Resistances, measuring.-An alternating-current instrument for measuring resistance comresistance g may be connected two differentially wound moving coils c, d, in series with which are connected the resistances e, f to be compared. A shunt prises a field winding b and as shown. In order to obviate frequency errors the moving-coil circuit is supplied with a current which has the same frequency dependence as the effective component of the current flowing through the moving coils c, d due to transformer action from the field winding b, for example by connecting a condenser h in series with the circuit containing the two moving coils c, d in parallel.
