Rotary machines. - In a machine for associating sheets printed by intaglio printing-couples with sheets printed by typographic couples, the intaglio couples 14, 16; 15, 17 are driven at a slower speed than the typographic couples 1, 3; 2, 4, and after the webs printed by the intaglio couples are cut by cylinders 23, Fig. 2, they are accelerated by conveying bands 24 to the speed of the webs printed by the typographic couples which are cut by cylinders 12, and the cut sheets are associated on a cylinder 13 prior to delivery of the assembled product. Drying-drums 18, 19 are used to dry the impressions of the intaglio cylinders, and the typographic couples and associated mechanism are driven from a shaft 25 through gears 26 - - 32, and the intaglio couples from the same shaft 25 by gears 33, 34 - - 40 arranged to drive these couples at half the speed of the typographic couples or at any other speed less than that of the typographic couples. The web from roll 8 when perfected is slit by discs 9 and the slit webs are associated by turning-bars 10, 11 before passing to the cutting-cylinders 12. The web from roll 21 is of less width, and is directed by a turning-bar 22 to the cutting-cylinders 23.
