Abstract

300,086. Gallagher, C. R. April 17, 1928. Tanks. - Floating covers for tanks are made up of a number of sections bolted together, each having a flange 7, to form a water pan, and an air venting tube. The pans communicate with each other and with a central discharge tube to allow excess water to pass off. Joint-making plates 15 are pressed against the tank wall by springs or weights.
