Abstract

299,403. Oehmichen, E. June 20, 1927. Kinematograph apparatus.-In combination with a claw feed-mechanism a current of free air presses the film on to bearing surfaces in the claws or on to the vicinity of them. The feed-mechanism may comprise claws 20, 21, Fig. 1, which engage longitudinally disposed perforations in the film 1, and the air current, either continuous or intermittent, may act upon the film between the claws. In a modification, Fig. 2, the air current presses the film on to the film passage 37 in the vicinity of claws 38, the claws being operated by any suitable mechanism 35 and passing through slits 36 in the passage.
