Abstract

298,344. Jennens, W. H., Ravenscroft, E. J., and Read, O. Sept. 14, 1927. Folding seats.-In a folding seat of the walking-stick type the seat members 1 are hinged to an end cap 3 on a tubular member 4 fitted to the stick 5, while struts 8 are provided, pivoted at P to the members 1 and at 15 to a sliding ring 9 adapted to abut the collar 17. The ring 9 may be formed from two parts, identical in shape, as shown in Fig. 5.
