Abstract

297,029. Schering-Kahlbaum Akt.- Ges. Sept. 12, 1927, [Convention date]. Substituted guanidines are produced by the interaction of dialkylcyanamides with an amine salt in the presence of the corresponding free amine. According to examples, diethylcyanamide is condensed with aniline and with isoamylamine, in the presence of the corresponding hydrochlorides. Dimethylcyanamide is also condensed with isoamylamine and with ethylamine in the presence of the corresponding hydrochlorides.
