Jigging conveyers. -The motor is coupled to a carriage a which is constrained by guides to reciprocate horizontally and is provided with extensions b by means of which it is attached to the connecting means between the conveyer sections r. The extensions b are provided with a plurality of recesses or apertures b<1>, b<2> which receive the screw connections c. When the motor and carriage are in line the coupling is a central rod, rope, or chain d, but when the motor is situated laterally of the conveyer the connection is a double-armed lever h. Two or more carriages may be connected by a linkage in order to apply the drive to several conveyer sections.
