291,647. Minache, S. Aug. 20, 1827. Addition to 213,495. Compound slabs.-The two outer layers of the three-layer slab claimed in the parent Specification consist of magnesium chloride, water glass, and calcined magnesia, and the intermediate layer consists of magnesium chloride, calcined magnesia, and pulverulent waste material such as sawdust. The three layers are moulded and pressed together and after setting, the slab is placed in water for a period.
